INGREDIENTS
Whole wheat flour - 2 cups
Water - 3 cups
Fresh yeast - 25 gms
Salt - 1 tsp
Butter - 100 gms (1/3 cup of oil)
Plain flour - 6 ½ cups
METHOD
Soak the whole wheat flour with water for 10 min. Dissolve yeast with little water. Mix in the yeast to whole meal flour, salt and oil. Add rest of the plain flour and kneed well. Leave it to proof double in size for half hour (cover with cloth). Roll it out to any shape and leave it to proof again for 20 min.
Then bake it in a moderate oven (350º F – 375º F) for 15 min. For loaf bread, bake it for 35 min. Remove from baking tray after 5 minutes.
